“革命性与科学性相结合”——谈中国马克思主义史学的思想遗产

认真总结九十年中国马克思主义史学为我们提供了什么样的思想遗产,是反思以往和展望未来必须解决的问题。在五四时期,唯物史观的传播风靡一世,为我们提供了极其宝贵的历史信息。在中国马克思主义史学创建之初,李大钊等先驱者撰写的论著,已鲜明地显示出革命性与科学性相结合的学术品格。继之,郭沫若著《中国古代社会研究》,例示了研究古史的一条大道;长达十年的中国社会史论战,进步学者在科学理论指导下,通过学术探讨和社会调查,批驳了错误观点,论证中国近代社会性质为半殖民地半封建社会,而秦至鸦片战争前为封建社会,这些正确结论大大鼓舞了人们的斗志,推进了伟大的革命事业。至抗战时期,以翦伯赞、侯外庐、范文澜等为代表,一致明确地以普遍原理与中国历史实际相结合为指导思想,从事理论创造和撰成一批力作,从而使以革命性和科学性相结合为基本特征的中国马克思主义史学得到壮大、发展。
