| 摘 要： | 陈焕章在民国初年提倡尊孔，主要是为了保存和发扬国魂、国性和国粹，进而重建国民道德。他用现代西方人主义学说重新解释孔子的一些思想，也是为r实现孔子学说的现代转型，使孔子之道适应现代生活。从陈氏尊孔的实际效果来看，他是个失败。这种失败应主要归因于他对时代大势的错误判断，同时也与他对孔子学说的误读息息相关。

| Abstract: | In the early Republic of China Chen Huan-zhang's venerating Confucianism maimed at keeping and enhancing the quintessence of Chinese culture,including rebuilding Chinese code of ethics.He tried to transform Confucianism with western modern humanism,but he ended in failure.The reason was that he couldn't grasp the real sense of Confucianism and couldn't judge where the trend of epoch would go. |
