半工业化:近代乡村手工业发展进程的一种描述

以半工业化来描述近代中国若干乡村、若干行业的手工业的发展进程，在学术界还是第一次。半工业化的兴起不仅是近代中国农村自然条件恶劣、人均耕地严重不足的产物，而且主要是机器工业所带来的技术进步的产物，地方能人在半工业化兴起过程中起了重要作用，区域外市场是半工业化得以发展的关键所在，多元共存的生产形式使半工业化在市场波动时具有较大的灵活性。因此，技术进步、区域外市场与多元共存的生产形式构成半工业化的重要特征。半工业化的衰退主要是外力作用，尤其是1929～1933年世界性的资本主义经济危机、日本所发动的侵华战争的结果，尽管如此，半工业化的兴起与发展还是对近代乡村社会经济变迁产生了积极影响。半工业化是一种在落后国家和地区所存在的既不同于农村传统手工业、也不同于原始工业化的一种现象，适合于对近代乡村手工业进行更加深入的研究。

Semi-Industrialization:An Analysis of the Developing Course of Village-Handicraft in Modern China

This thesis tries to analyze the developing course of some village handicraft and some trade in modern China. It holds that the rise and development of semi industrialization is not only the result of the pressure of population, but also the technology improvement of machine industry. Local able person plays an important role in the rise of semi industrialization. Outside market is the key in the developing course. Many and varied forms of production enable the villagehandicraft to face the wave of market in the phase of semi industrialization. The progress of technology, outside market and varied forms are the important characteristics of semi industrialization. The causes of the decline of semi industrialization are outside factor, especially the world economy crisis of 1929 1933, the War against Japanese invasion. But the semi industrialization brings about an active effect in the changes of village society and economy in modern China.It is a phenomenon in the developing country and area, and it is not only different from the traditional village handicraft, but also different from proto industrialization. Semi industrialization is a suitable concept in the further step research of village handicraft in modern China.
