| Abstract: | The influential book A Concise History of Arabic Countries edited by Professor Peng Shuzhi puts emphasis upon the general characteristics and main trend of Arabic history. It also provides new ideas for the historical research on regions in the world from the angle of civilization intercourse. However the author has more or less ignored the relation between the Arabic world and China in the 20th century. |
