On the stature of the poetry by Nalan Xingde

The poems written by Nalan Xingde are one of the best poetry in Qing dynasty, but are not very famous because people think they are sickly sentimental. This paper compares the poetry of Nalan with those of Li Yu, Yan Jidao and Li Qingzhao, showing its treachery, purity and broad-minded character. Thus, it should be focused more and ranked higher position in literary history.
