建福宫花园建筑历史沿革考

建福宫花园位于紫禁城西北部的建福宫后,为原乾西五所中之四、五所所在地,于乾隆七年改建成建福宫花园,由于初建的建福宫花园有许多不尽人意之处,之后又陆续添建碧琳馆、慧曜楼,改建玉壶冰等建筑,至乾隆二十三年花园方总体告罄。本文试梳理出建福宫花园建筑的历史沿革,分析其改建、添建的原因,并探讨建福宫花园的使用情况。

The Historical Evolution of the Architecture of the Jianfu Palace Garden

The Jianfu Palace Garden is located in the north-western corner of the Forbidden City behind the Jianfu Palace, and formed the 4th and 5th part of the western ?ve complexes of the original Qianlong palace, which was converted into a garden in the 7th year of the Qianlong reign. Because the originally constructed complex had few places where people could relax, the complex later gradually underwent a number of changes with the addition of Bilin Palace and Huiyao Lou, as well as the alterations to Yuhubing. It was only by the 23rd year of the Qianlong reign that the complex was completed in its entirety. This paper presents an organised account of the evolution of the Jianfu Palace Garden, analysing its alterations and additions, as well as examining the various uses to which the Jianfu Palace Garden was put.
