林语堂在《语丝》时期的思想倾向

林语堂1923年从欧美留学回国后,即以《语丝》为阵地发表了三十多篇文章,开始崭露头角。受鲁迅和语丝派的影响,林语堂的思想越来越激进,他关心和支持政治运动,同情和歌颂学生运动,同时对军阀、政客、官僚进行无情的抨击,对中国传统文化尤其是中国国民性给予深刻的解剖和有力的批判,显示了林语堂强烈的社会关怀和要求改变现状的革新进步倾向。《语丝》时期是林语堂思想最激进的一个阶段。

The Thought Tendency of Lin Yutang in the Period of the Magazine Yusi

Lin Yutang published over 30 articles and stood himself out after he returned from his overseas study in the United States and Europe with Yusi as his basis.Under the influence of Lu Xun and Yusi,Lin Yutang became more and more radical in his thought and he supported the political movement then and gave his sympathy for the students' movement,poured his harsh remarks on the bureaucrats,politicians and the warlords.He also criticized and uncovered traditional Chinese culture,especially the national nature of China,showing his progressive tendency of strong humanistic concern and that of altering the existing social situation of China.The Yusi period is the most progressive period in Lin Yutang's thought.
