城坝遗址M45出土一组乐器的分析研究

本文对四川渠县城坝遗址出土的錞于、钲、钟一组青铜乐器做了相关分析,研究发现:这组乐器属铜锡铅三元合金,錞于、钟含有微量砷;均采用范铸法分批、分部件浇铸而成,各部位合金比例不尽相同,錞于的合金比例差别较大。通过微痕信息观察,器身上的部分巴蜀符号为刻划成型而非铸造;器物用途可能仅为陪葬品而非实用器。

Analysis and research of a set of bronze musical instruments found inside tomb no.M45 at the Chengba site

This article conducts an analytical research on a group of bronze musical instruments found at the Chengba site in Quxian county,Sichuan province.These objects include a chunyu percussion drum,zheng bell and zhong bell.The results show that these musical instrument were made of alloy of copper,tin and lead,whilst the chunyu percussion drum and zheng bell also contain a tiny amount of arsenic.They were all made by the piece-mold casting method,with different parts of the instruments being made and cast separately.Thus,the alloys of the different parts differ in percentage.The variation in the alloy of the chunyu percussion drum is especially high.Micro-wear examination shows that some of the Ba-shu style symbols were carved rather than cast on the bodies of the instruments.We suggest that the instruments were possibly used as funeral objects without practical utilization.
