| Abstract: | In modern China,for more than one century Overseas Chinese has played a leading role in Qiaoxiang's community affairs,while in turn Qiaoxiang provided them with special social and cultural networks.In order to illustrate this point,the article analyzes one century's historical changes in modern coastal Qiaoxiang of Fujian by focusing on a case study of Quanzhou HuaQiao Charities. |
