| Abstract: | The Liangzhu city-site lies northwest of Hangzhou City and west of the Liangzhu site group.Archaeological survey and excavation have preliminarily clarified the distribution scope,strati- graphic deposition and terminal date of the city-walls.The site is about 1,800-1,900 m long from the north to the south and 1,500-1,700 m wide from the west to the east,totaling above 2,900,000 sq m in area.The walls are built of rather pure yellow clay on 40-60 wide stone foundations,and measures about 4 m in height for t... |
