| Abstract: | In 2006 to 2007,archaeologists excavated three robbed Chu tombs at Xujialing in Xi- chuan County,Henan,of which Tomb 11 is especially important.It is a rectangular earthen-pitted wooden-chambered grave with a tomb-passage.In addition to the coffin of the tomb-owner,there are two coffins of attendant burials in the chamber.The tomb-owner's skeleton has rotten.But the burial manner can he ascertained to be lying in an extended supine position.So do the skeletons in the coffins of at- tendant burials.Among the... |
