试论藏族民居装饰的嬗变(英文)

Modern Tibetan residential house ornamentation is quite different from traditional types in terms of content and form. It is not restricted to traditional ornamental characteristics such as stone and wood structures with white walls. Instead, it incorporates artistic decorative features from old royal palaces, garden architecture, monasteries etc, and has become more and more diversified and rich in structure and formal design. This is probably the most noticeable characteristic of modern ornamental art in Tibetan residential housing.
