元英宗谪高丽忠宣王于吐蕃原因探析

A preliminary analysis of the reasons why the Yingzong emperor of the Yuan Dynasty relegated the Zhongxuan Prince in Korean to a minor post in Tibet

Although there are some records in historical materials about reasons why the Yingzong emperor of the Yuan Dynasty relegated Wang Zhang, the Zhongxuan Prince in Korea, to a minor post in Tibet, but they are not in detail, this article makes analysis of this question. The author points out that the concrete accusation that made Yingzong emperor decided to relegate Wang Zhang to a minor post in Tibet was that Wang Zhang had been obstinately stick to Buddhism, but the essential cause in depth lay in the palace struggles. Since Wang Zhang was Daji's trusted follower, thus became Yingzong's object who would be combed out, and the contradiction between Wang Zhang and Buoyan Tugus, an eunuch, was the direct reason that led to the Yingzong emperor to punish Wang Zhang.
