Warsaw Talks had exerted different effects on policies of handling the 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis by China and US. Although the Talks helped China and the United States to understand their intentions, the Talks made Sino-American differences on the questions of Taiwan and the offshore islands more sharp-pointed. As the outcome of the Talks, China adjusted and changed her policies towards Taiwan and the offshore islands and the United States made its Taiwan policy more explicit.
