| Abstract: | More than one thousand clay seals were found in recent years in the Western Han emperor Jing's Yangling Mausoleum.Although most of the clay seals are damaged and repetitive in texts,their value for historic research is undeniable.The textual research this paper present is based on three categories: seals used by court officials and their subordinates,seals for local officials and special offices,and private seals. |
