The role of maps in solving border dispute and China's sovereignty over the Nansha Islands

On the basis of having studied some typical cases of international border disputesthis article stresses the important role of maps in solving the disputes, and hence examines, from the angle of international law, a lot of Chinese and Foreign maps which mark that the Nasha Islands belong to China, then further points out that the disjointed boundary lines concerning the South China Sea are important basis and criterion justifying China's sovereignty over the Nansha Islands.
