VERP对我国风景名胜区旅游环境容量研究的启示

"游客体验与资源保护"(VERP)框架是美国国家公园管理局(NPS)研究人员对旅游环境容量(TECC)系统研究的成果,它既可以作为制订容量政策的规划框架,又可以作为一种监测和管理工具,这对目前还处在线性、静态研究阶段的我国风景名胜区旅游环境容量研究有很大的启示,VERP提供了一个理性的、符合逻辑的规划框架和操作性强的动态管理工具。

THE ENLIGHTENMENT FROM VERP TO THE TOURISM ENVIRONMENT CARRYING CAPACITY STUDY OF SCENIC AREAS IN CHINA

"Visitor Experience and Resources Protection(VERP)" framework is developed by the National Parks Service(NPS) to address visitor use management and carrying capacity issues in the units of national park system.Not only can it be the framework of establishment of planning policy,but also a kind of monitor and management tool.Therefore,it gives enlightenment to the study on " Tourism Environment Carrying Capacity(TECC)"in Chinese Scenic Areas,which is still in static and linear state.VERP framework provides a more reasonable and rational planning framework and more operational managing tool.From the analysis of VERP framework,we should change narrow viewpoint of TECC concept system,pay more attention to "the level and type" of tourist use,less to counting" the tourist number";more attention to dynamic management,less to the viewpoint of static and linear plan;more attention to System analysis,less to module computation;more attention to the determination of indicators and specify standards for zone,less to select of computation standards of TECC,and in the end,develop the study of TECC in Scenic Areas in China.
