On Chen Yunsheng

Chert Yunsheng（1820-1884）, a native of Ningbo, was a active painter in shanghai in the late qing dynasty. He was good at drawing landscape paintings, and also painted figures, flowers and birds. One of his famous works handed down was Niuzhaihuasheng. By analysis of his works and documents, the author of the paper tries his best to restore the history of an original and true Chen Yunsheng.
