Being a famous historian in later Ming dynast,his view that all writings were historiography and historical date had different defects and qualities became theory foundation to verify historical date.Then he used intuitivism and reasonableness method to verify the historical date of later Ming Dynasty.In this rang he obtained remarkable achievement.All the achievements closely related with defects of historical date and his diligent attitude at historiography.
