A Review on the Northwestern Explorers and Their Works in the Period of National Government

In the period of national government, a lot of explorers came to the northwestern China under the situation of national crisis and northwestern development. Facing the extreme difficulties, they, in their powers, made an in-depth and painstaking investigation on northwestern China, making detailed records and original anatomy which echoed greatly in then society. All these played an important role for people to realize and develop the northwestern China.
