On the New - type Education of the Minorities of Heilongjiang in the End of Qing Dynasty and the Beginning of Republic of China

In the end of Qing dynasty and the beginning of Republic of China, the new-type education of minorities in Heilongjiang sprang up vigorously. It not only improved the cultural making of minorities to a certain content, but also had the significance to consolidate national defense and resist foreign aggression together. This paper studies the causes why the new-type education of minorities rose in Heilongjiang and analyzes its siginificance and shortcomings. The purport and role of popularizing new-type education of minorities in reinforcing the borderland can be still used for reference today.
