国际古迹遗址理事会专家对中国世界文化遗产误读的跨文化解析

世界遗产委员会每年在全球进行的世界遗产申报与评估实质上是一种跨文化交流活动。由于文化背景的差异，负责世界文化遗产评估的国际古迹遗址理事会（ICOMOS）专家不可避免地对中国世界文化遗产存在一些误读。本文对中国世界文化遗产中方的申报材料与ICOMOS的评估材料进行了比较研究，分析了造成误读的几个根本原因。并提出，我国在申报世界文化遗产时，应考虑到文化差异对申报工作的影响，尽量从“他者”角度来认识自身的文化特征，把申报材料的编撰置于国际文化背景下，使中国的世界遗产实现跨文化认同，促使更多的遗产申报成功。

A Cross-cultural Analysis of ICOMOS Experts' Misreading of Chinese World Cultural Heritages

Application for being inscribed on UNESCO＇ s world heritage list, in essence, is a kind of cross-cultural activities. Due to differing culture backgrounds, the experts of ICOMOS responsible for the evaluation of world cultural heritages will inevitably misread some cultural connotations of China＇ s cultural heritages. In this article a contrastive cross-cultural study is made the two parties of advisory body evaluation： the justification submitted by China and the evaluation by ICOMOS. It is found that it is the differences in aesthetic taste and expressive styles between the east and the west, the broadness and profundity of Chinese culture itself and the attachment of Chinese people to their own heritages that are being blamed for the misreading. In order to be inscribed successfully on UNESCO＇s world heritage list, it is proposed that we mange to see our own culture from the viewpoint of experts from different cultural backgrounds and write the justification part in the context of cross cultural communication.
