民国时期乡村自治推行之前因后果--从《民国乡村自治问题研究》谈起

民国时期推行乡村自治，与其说是受民主潮流的冲击，不如说是统治者探索以何种方式统治乡村的结果。这样，乡村自治不但自始至终受到统治者的严密控制，而且实际上变成了推行保甲勒度，变成了“绅治”。旧中国的社会性质和统治者的阶级本质，决定了现代意义上的真正村民自决的乡村自治；不可能推行。

On the Cause and Effect for Carrying out the Local Autonomy during the Republic of China

During the Republic of China,the ruling class carried out the system of local autonomy not for the effect of the democratic trend,but for controlling the countryside under new conditions.Therefore,local autonomy was controlled strictly by the rulers from beginning to end,and thus formed the Bao Jia and Shen Zhi system in fact.Although the local autonomy in which villagers made decisions to their wills is of modern significance,it could not be realized because of the nature of the old China and the essence of the ruling class.$$$$
