An Analysis on the Food Coupons and Food Cards System in the Initial Stages of the Monopoly System for Grain Purchasing and Marketing

This thesis gives a systematic case study in Henan province in 1953-1957 on the origin of the food coupons and food cards system's establishment and the formation process in the initial stages of the monopoly system for grain purchasing and marketing.This thesis also probes into the system's historical picture and the track of its evolvement in the three stages (initial stage,forming stage,establishment stage) and the role it had played in the monopoly system for grain purchasing and marketing.The formation of the food coupons and food cards system offered a strong safeguard for putting the monopoly policy for grain purchasing and marketing into practice and became an important part of the monopoly system for grain purchasing and marketing.
