| Abstract: | This paper,based on the analysis of the maps of China made by European in early modern times belonging to die Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin as the basis,discusses the basic characteristics and the variations of the three dominant models for making maps of China in the history of modern European cartography.Furthermore,this paper examine the relationship between the phenomena of copying a map again and again with some variations occasionally and the European Images of China. |
