明清时期山东私修方志述论

明清时期是山东私修方志发展的鼎盛时期，在种类、数量、体例和内容上都达到了历史的顶峰，具有很高的价值。私修方志保存了大量的地方文献，是官修方志重要的参考资料，补充了官修方志之不足，并且纠正官修方志中的错误，它还提供了大量的其他史书所未载的地方史料。但私修方志也存在着明显的缺点，如时空分布不平衡；体例混乱，内容繁简不一；考证不够精详，多有溢美之词等。
