硼氢化钾对于氧化纸质文物的还原作用研究

摘    要:纸质文物的病害主要来自纤维素的水解和氧化。对于纸质文物的保护通常采取脱酸处理,但对于纤维素的氧化病害并没有起到作用。本文提出在纸质文物的保护处理中加入硼氢化钾作为还原剂,重点作用于纤维素氧化造成的病害。通过还原作用使纤维素分子链上的氢键作用得以恢复,进而达到提高纤维自身强度的目的。本文开展一系列实验研究,通过pH值、色差的改变,以及羰基含量变化和纤维素结晶度对研究硼氢化钾的还原作用效果进行综合评价。

A study on the reduction function of cellulose for oxidized paper relics

Abstract:The diseases of paper reties are mainly from the hydrolysis and oxidation of Ihe cellulnse. The protection of paper relics used to be applied wilh deacidificalion processing, However, this traditional approach in the diseases oxidalion nf the cellulose has not heen effective so far. This paper presents a new way of undertaking paper-based heritage protection by adding a reducing agent. It focuses on haw to solve the disease caused by the cellulose oxidation, and restores the. cellulose molecular chain of hydrogen honds through the reducing action. In order to verify the above approach, a series of experimenls has been conducted, focusing on the effect of the reducing agent, and Ihen a comprehensive evaluation eft the reduction trealmenl was done through pH value and color change, as well as carbonyl content and degree of crystallinity to get to know its real effects.
