Abstract:The Chinese bionic wooden-structured architecture had been introduced into East Asian countries long ago and thus forming of an eastern architecture system. By combining with new materials and technology, it has then enabled European countries to build skyscrapers since the 18th Century; Space theory extracted from Lao Zi has inspired the Contemporary Architectural Revolution worldwide; The traditional principle to process ce- ramic block with vegetable oil, which was honored as a "building material revolution", has helped to formulate a theory on building materials based on an organic and inorganic combination of acid & alkali-resistance. As of today, marking a departure from the ideas of garden" or "park" in western countries, the Chinese has integrated artificial and natural environment applied to Chinese gardens to form their own theories on modern landscaping; Fengshui, as a theory emphasizing a functional-field effect and unification of spirit and material, has been more and more popular in Japan, South Korea, the United States, Germany, France and other western countries. As a common wealth of mankind, the Chinese architectural heritage will continue to contribute to the environmental construction for human being.
