Conservation of polychromy scheme on wooden structure of Sanqing Hall and Front Gate of Yuanmiao Temple, Putian, Fujian Province

The paper introduced the artistic style and value of the polychromy schemes of the wooden structure of Sanqing Hall and the Front Gate of the Yuanmiao Temple,Putian,Fujian Province.The author explored various conservation methods,selected proper materials for consolidation,established complete conservation documents,and trained a group of conservators.The project provided valuable experience for conservation of polychromy scheme of ancient Chinese architecture.
