| 摘 要： | 介绍了杨凤岗博士关于美国华人改信基督教动因研究、“叠合身份”理论与美国华人教会中的多重身份构建研究、教会中的第二代美国华人文化认同等问题研究的学术成果与观点；论述了其理论成就与贡献；也对其研究中存在的诸如“叠合身份”理论的时效性、教会潜在的社会和经济功能、美国华人宗教研究中的阶级因素等问题进行了分析探讨。

| Abstract: | This review article introduces Dr Fenggang Yang's studies on the Chinese American religions and his major theoretical contributions,such as motivations behind the conversion of Chinese Americans to Christianity,the theory of "Adhesive Identity",the formation of multi-identities in the Chinese American churches,and the cultural identity maintained by the second generation of Chinese Americans in the churches.The authors also discusses the timeliness of Yang's Adhesive Identity theory,the potential social and economic functions exhibited in the churches of ethnic Chinese,and the class factor in the study of Chinese American religions. |
