Discussion on the Affair and Effect of the Migration of Banner People from the Inner City in Kangxi Period

This text regards the affair that some banner people migrated outside from the inner city in Beijing to the around areas of parade grounds because of the subsistence problem in the thirty-fourth year of the era of Kangxi as the cutting point,and discuss the historical meaning and effects of the affair and the further developments.And elucidate how "the eight banners outside the inner city" in Beijing formed as a whole which ranged from nine gates garrison to parade grounds garrisons.And then analyze the new pattern of the distribution of eight banners in Beijing formed in the middle of the Qing Dynasty:the area of eight-banner garrison in inner city,the influence area of eight-banner garrison around inner city,and the residential area of Han Chinese in the outer city,which was different from the old pattern of that banner people and the Han Chinese live apart exactly from the boundary between the inner city and the outer city.Finally,the text also discuss the changes of the rulers' political intentions and management policies through the process.
