摘    要:On April 5, 1904, the Britishinvaded Gyangze. TheTibetan army and civilianancient poeder guns and stones, andGyangze Zong Hill Castle became a for-tified point for defense. The British army cut off the watersupply, forcing the Tibetans to fetchdirty water and, in the end, drink theirown urine. The Tibetans persisted despite all diffi-culties.
