| |
Abstract: | AbstractRosalind Franklin's earliest research involved studies of coal, carbon, and graphite. She made a number of enduring contributions in these areas, most notably identifying the fundamental distinction between graphitising and non-graphitising carbons. Her work on carbon also provided a valuable background for her later biological work. |
