| 摘 要： | 《時務報》是戊戌變法期間最重要的刊物,張之洞因汪康年而與之關係甚深。當康有爲有意將《時務報》改爲官報以歸梁啓超掌控時,汪康年在張之洞的支持下,將之改爲《昌言報》,企圖以《時務報》的＂空名＂給康有爲。本文根據＂張之洞檔案＂中的大量電報、書信,揭示了這一過程中的種種内幕,展示了許多以往不清楚的細節,並由此引發關於＂百日維新＂命運的思考。本文還集中地考察了張之洞與黄遵憲之間的關係,並説明黄遵憲政治地位的盛衰與張之洞甚有關聯。
