| 摘 要： | 2007年夏,中国社会科学院考古研究所内蒙古第二工作队等对龟趺山建筑基址进行了发掘。基址由台基、主体建筑和两侧登山路等组成。主体建筑面阔和进深各三间。中央有一幢石龟趺碑座。发现刻有契丹大字和汉字的石碑残片。据汉字碑文可知,碑上刻有耶律阿保机的历史功绩。该基址为辽太祖纪功碑楼。
