新编地方志书外事志编纂现状及若干问题探析

外事志是新编地方志书中的专业志之一。文章结合上海、广东以及广州等省、市出版的外事志，指出目前出版的各省（自治区、直辖市）外事志编纂和出版特点：一是成果显著；二是绝大部分集中在近20年出版，从侧面反映了这一时期我国修志工作的繁荣发展。并从研究目的和对象、社会功用、研究对象的时间范围等方面分析当代中国外交史与外事志的关系，还指出编纂外事志要注意的问题：指导思想明确、主线清晰、保持完整性、坚持实事求是等。
