例谈志书述而不论与揭示规律的关系处理

述而不论是志书编纂的重要原则，但与揭示客观规律并非完全对立，而是矛盾的统一体，因为述而不论不等于没有观点，述而不论同样可以揭示规律。在编纂实践中，也可以通过特色内容升格设置、充分利用三级概述特点、精选材料合理取舍、写作技巧加强记述深度等途径，达到既遵循述而不论的原则，又能发掘志书资料的潜在价值，较好地寓观点于记述之中。但在追求揭示规律的时候，要尽力避免编纂者个体的主观色彩和编纂者随机、无度的评议。
