| Abstract: | This paper proposes that the late Longshan period in Henan corresponds to the early Xia dynasty, and the first period of the Erlitou culture to the Xia dynasty after Houyi and Hanzhuo. The Xinzhai phase of the Erlitou culture not only fills the gap between the above two cultures, but also de- monstrates that the first phase of the Erlitou culture is not the beginning of Xia dynasty. |
