| 摘 要： | 岳石文化确立之初，其粗重和草率的制陶作风便引起了学术界的普遍关注，尤其与山东龙山文化制陶的精细和认真所形成的时代反差，更使人们有衰变之感。随着众多遗址的发现和典型遗址的发掘，对岳石文化的分布范围、时代、文化特征、社会经济状况等问题都有了较多的了解，对岳石文化也有了更清晰地认识：“如果仅从陶器的由精致转向粗糙这一方面看，确实给人以文化衰退之感。但是，从文化整体上考察，情况恰恰相反。就是说，岳石文化的社会生产综合水平，与龙山文化相比又有较大的进步和提高…… ”①这为我们准确把握岳石文化的发展脉胳提供…
