愙鼎与愙斋

1937年出版的《华云杂记》上卷，陕西近代学者党晴梵曾以《周愙鼎》为题，记述了如下一段饶有趣味的金石佳话。“清光绪二年（1876年），凤翔周氏以所藏鼎一，携之长安，装潢座、盖、木匣，将备陈设之具。时吴县吴清卿先生（大澂）督学陕西，见之，以为寰宝，周即以鼎赠。周盖昔年得于古董商者，其出土年月地址，均不可知。

Keding and Kezhai

The paper tells the story of how the famous seals carving master Wu Dacheng of late Qing dynasty collected the “Keding” of Western Zhou dynasty, and thereby he named himself “kezhai”.
