| Abstract: | Kunfa is a Chinese term referring to certain kinds of hairstyles characterized by shaving-off parts of hair while leaving other parts. Much information related to Khitan (qidan) people's Kunfa hairstyle can be identified in the archaeological materials of the Liao Dynasty, especially in mural paintings from burial chambers.
