农村公共图书馆发展之我见

公共图书馆是由国家主办、面向社会公众免费开放的公益性机构，它的任务是为我国公民提供文化公益服务。在我国的13亿人口中就有近8亿在农村，农民占据了人口中的大多数。享受图书馆的服务是全体公民的权利。文章认为，为农村的广大农民读者提供良好的文化公益服务，应当成为今后公共图书馆的工作重点。

My Opinion about the Public Library to Provide Cultural Information Service for the Countryside

Public library is a commonweal organ which sponsored by the state and opens for free to the social masses , its responsi- bility is to provide cultural public good service for the civil . Almost eight hundred millions population in the one billion and three hun- dred millions have been living in the rural areas , and farmers are the most in the whole population . To enjoy the library service is a right of the entire civil. Therefore , to provide benign cultural service for the farming readers should become an emphasized point of the public library work in the future .
