陈独秀不仅是中国共产党的创始人和中国现代文化的开拓者,而且是一位成效卓著的报刊活动家和中国共产党早期新闻事业的创立者。他主持创办了中国第一批无产阶级报刊和中共中央第一份政治机关报。他在报刊性质、功能、特征,传播特点及报人品格诸方面,形成了较为系统的观点,对当代新闻报刊事业的发展仍然具有一定的借鉴意义。

On Chen Du - xiu' s press thoughts

Chen Du-xiu was not only the originator of the CPC and the reclaimer of Chinese modern culture,but also a distinguished news expert and early news career founder of the CPC.He had established the first group of proletarian press of China and the first political organ newspaper of the Central Committee of the CPC.He had formed rather systematic viewpoint on the quality,function,characteristics,propagating traits of press and the pressmen’s character and morals,there is much in his viewpoint that we can make use of in the development of contemporary journalism and communicational career.
