| 摘 要： | 作为中国近代著名史学家的柳诒徵 ,他早年的学术活动是其学术生涯中的重要组成部分。但他早年并未留学日本 ,而是对日本进行过一次教育考察。这次教育考察的具体时间是在 1 90 3年初。这次考察可以说是柳诒徵进行现代教育与学术活动的新起点。
