| Abstract: | In the light of data of archaelogy and. ancient cbaracters, this article delves into the WestrenZhou culture in the Huai River valley in Anhui province and points out that the Zhou culture had ex-erted its influence deep into the middle reaches of Huai River even in the period of Western Zhou,though it had not crossed the Yangzi-Huaihe watershed in the South. |
