建国以来女性教育的成果、问题及对策

女性的教育状况是衡量女性在社会中地位高低的主要标志之一.新中国建立后制定的有关法律和法规,新的教育体制的确立以及开展的女性扫盲运动、女性基础教育、高等教育、研究生教育、留学教育和继续教育等实践,使中国女性在提高了政治和社会地位的同时,也提高了文化知识水平和科学技术的应用能力.教育是立国之本,而女性教育更关系到民族的兴亡和国家的盛衰.占中国人口一半以上的女性自身素质和文化水平曾对建国以来的社会发展产生过很大影响,并将继续对21世纪中国科技、经济、社会的走向产生巨大的影响.

Achievements , Problems and Suggested Measures in Women's Education since the Founding of New China

Women's education is one of the major yardsticks to measure the social status of Women. After the founding of New China, the adoption of laws, rules and regulations, the establishment of new educational system and a series of measures for women's advancement such as the campaign to eliminate illiteracy, elementary education, higher education, postgraduate education, receiving education abroad and further education, have raised women's cultural level and their ability of scientific and technological application as well as their political and social status.Education is the base on which to build up the nation and women's education bears on the rise and fall of the nation and the prosperity and decline of the country. The qualities and cultural level of the women who make up more than one half of the whole population have exerted great influence over the social development since the founding of the People's Republic and will continue to produce great impact on the technological and scientific, economic and social developmental tendency in China in the 21~(st) century.
