摘    要:买办在近代中国新式企业活动中一直是一个活跃的也是最富有的群体。但买办一直"耻言身份",他们存在着一种卑微心理,这种心理的产生与当时的社会环境和个人出身有密切关系。这种心理的给买办们的事业带来极大影响,也一定程度地影响了中国近代化的进程。

Abstract:The comprador is one of the most wealthy classes in modern china,and has always worked particularly vividly in Chinese modern-style business enterprise. But we can also find that they were shy to admit their social status. They had the humble mentality that was closely related to their lower origin and the influence of the social environment on them at that time.Their humble mentality affected their business, and also prevented the process of modernization in China.
