The Conservative Forces Being Not So Seemingly Powerful in the 1898 Reform Movement

Based upon historical facts during the Hundred Days＇Reform in 1898, this article analy- ses the attitudes of almost all of the powerful officials from both central government and local governments, towards the reform; concludes that the conservatives＇influence was not as powerful in the Hundred Days＂ Reform, and raise a query against the traditional view of which the powerful conservatives＂ impact led to the failure of the Hundred Days＂ Reform.
