“抢西边”和“欲得中原”——“己巳之役”中满洲贵族新旧“战争理念”的碰撞和冲突

在明清战争史的诸多战役中,发生在天聪三年十月至天聪四年五月的一场战役(史称己巳之役),以往的研究均未给予应有的重视和评价。从军事角度观察,其重要性可能并不突出,但从文化角度予以审视,此役却有极其深刻之内涵。笔者认为,己巳之役重要性,并不在于满、明之间军事冲突的胜败得失,而是此役诸多事件,反映出满洲贵族内部,以皇太极为首的新贵族与传统和保守的旧贵族之间,在战争理念上的碰撞和冲突,终使己巳之役成为满洲社会新、旧战争理念之分水岭和转折点,并对入关前后的满洲贵族整体之文化嬗变,起了重要促进作用。
