| Abstract: | The colored whorled flowers (Xuanzi Hua) were developed from the whorled flowers and were very important decorating patterns distributed at the inner surface of square frames and main roof of the large sized ancient wood - framed constructions. In this article, the author gives a brief discuss to the types, applied location, the chronology of the flowers , and then probe into the rigorous rank system of the application of the flowers in the Qing Dynasty. |
